Beaches near Nine Olives Hvar
Lanterna Bay
This is directly in front of the house, a walk of about 100m, en route to the town centre. It has a sun bathing terrace, pebble beach, toilets, showers and lovely bar with seating under pine trees.
Maslinica Beach
It is 2km from Nine Olives, going away from town, along a lovely car free route along the harbourside. It is unusual for Croatia in being sand. It is especially good for kids. There are excellent views from the beach to the neighbouring island of Brac.
Kupalište Bonj (Bonj Beach)
A scenic pebble beach in a small bay on the other side of the harbour, overlooked by Hermitage Restaurant. It is a good destination for a walk. There is an aqua park there in the summer which kids like.
